A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electrical components using conductive tracks or pads, that comprise of one or more layers of copper sheets laminated either on or in-between layers of a non-conductive substrate. Different thin and thick films are applied to provide conductive properties, oxidation resistance and solder-ability preservation. Calmetrics provides standards to measure these film applications on PCBs.
