Cutting Tools

Cutting tools are generally made from hardened base metals, such as hardened tool steel or tungsten carbide, and are coated for additional hardness and wear resistance. Thickness of these coatings must be controlled to provide the tool life as promoted by the manufacturer. Besides the typical standards listed below, we also provide titanium nitride & carbide coating standards and nickel diamond coatings on requests.
